Bus carrying Japanese tourists in Turkey crashes into ditch

Multiple Japanese nationals, including one who suffered a broken arm, were sent to hospital after a large tour bus carrying 20 Japanese tourists and a guide veered off a road and crashed into a ditch in western Turkey on Thursday, media reports said.
Passengers underwent medical examinations, and two of them are receiving treatment, according to local authorities.
None of the passengers are in any life-threatening condition, the Japanese Embassy in Turkey said.
The accident occurred on a highway in Afyonkarahisar province, about 250 kilometers southwest of Ankara, on Thursday morning, NHK reported.
Turkish media published images of the overturned bus on a roadside, with ambulances and police cars at the scene.
The cause of the accident and other details are unknown. The bus was heading from Izmir in western Turkey to Cappadocia in central Turkey, according to the authorities.
